It’s the 1st of April, also known as April Fools’ Day in the west. It’s not commonly observed in Asia although people here have heard about it.

Today is also the day when Lola and I will fly to Jakarta together. It feels so weird to take her along because I’ve been to Jakarta so many times but always for work, so I have no idea where to take her for sight-seeing.
